Random Places throughout the U.S.

There are loads of great places to visit in the United States. One doesn't have to leave the country in order to see amazing places. Some of my favorite places to visit are those with zoo's and aquarium's, not to mention those with tasty places to eat. Just recently my fiance and I visited San Antonio and it's zoo. While in San Antonio we went to the Alamo, the Mexican Market, and the Riverwalk. We also visited Corpus Christi. While there, we went to the Texas State Aquarium, the Padre Island National Seashore, and loads of delicious places to eat great seafood. A couple of years ago we went on a roadtrip to Louisiana. There we went to the French Quarter in New Orleans. On our way to New Orleans we visited family in Mississippi and went to Natchez. We've generally covered the south but haven't forgotten the north. A couple of Christmases ago we went to Minnesota to visit family there and see all of the local attractions and play in loads of snow.

To begin, where have I been?

1. Germany:
  • Numerous castles
  • Horsebackriding through the Blackforest, over a drawbridge and into a castle, and then to France
  • The Euro Park
  • Numerous nice German Restaurants
  • Der Botanischer Garten Karlsruhe and the zoo in Karlsruhe along with various other attractions in that city
  • Munich, during its 850 year anniversary (Der Koenigsplatz, Frauenkirche, BMW Headquarters, Allianz Arena, Olympiapark, Hofbrauhaus, Englischer Garten, Marienplatz, etc)

...I'll add more later...

Great Places to Visit Around the World

So, I have been asked to complete a Blog for a college course. The fact that I have never blogged before nor read a blog may make this rather amusing. However, I will attempt to embrace this assignment to its fullest. I have concluded that in order for this blog to be even remotely successful I have to write about something that greatly interests me and hopefully others as well. Thus, I have chosen to write about the places I've been around the world and hope to hear where others have been and what they've seen.
